Okay, just for the heck of it I want to know, how many people actually go to a hockey game to watch it in peace? I was at the Blue Jackets/Predators game on Tuesday and some college kid in front of me actually got mad because I was cheering the Jackets on (and no he wasn't a Nashville fan)...so has anyone else ever encountered someone who actually has gotten mad at you for being loud at a game because they were trying to watch it in peace? If so, what was your reaction to them?
I did tell him if he wanted to watch it in peace to go home turn on the tv and turn the volume down, because I wasn't going to stop cheering. I wasn't being rude or anything, just being a normal hockey fan cheering on my favorite team.
I've never encountered this. The person who was getting mad at you is crazy. How can you to go to a live hockey game, let alone any sporting event, and expect it to be quiet? Granted you weren't being obnoxiously loud, the other guy should've thought twice before going if he wanted peace and quiet.
