Can you wear a Figure Skating dress for doing your lessons? This is a wierd question but I'm on grade seven and I want to wear a dress but is it wierd wearing them for grades? Because most people wear them for Competitions.
Hello, Yes you can wear a dress for grades. You should wear a practice dress though.
Practice dresses are warm, comfortable and easy to launder.
They should be a reasonable price. I recommend Mondor.
Competition dresses are much more expensive because they are custom made and
have crystals etc. etc.
You would look kinda silly wearing a competition dress for grades.
For my first club competition, I put crystals on my practice dress- looked great and
I think it helped my nerves with the competition because I felt I was just wearing my
regular dress. I forgot about the dress and concentrated on the skating
