What snowboard should I get?
I am 5' 9.5" and weigh 160lbs. I have a size 12 boot. Right now I have a 154 Burton Bullet and think it is too stiff and it is coming apart on top. I need a good all-mountain board that I can start off with on some small park features. Also need it to be under $300. What board would be best? I was looking at the Forum Recon... how is that? NO K2s ---- Thanks
Forum Recon is a lower end board and is geared more towards park. If I were you I would be looking at deals on last year's models since you can get some of the top end boards for under $300 by now. The only trouble will be finding them in your size. I would go with a 154 or 155 if you are going to start park.
Some good boards to look at are:
Never Summer SL-R
Burton Custom X
Rome Graft
Lib Tech TRS
Omatic Awesome
Just do some research and make sure the boards you are looking at are classified as all mountain freestyle or have a flex rating of around 5-7/10.
Good luck.
