My boyfriend is a HUGE hockey fanatic - he loves to watch hockey, talk about hockey, play hockey...absolutely anything and everything. He plays in a local league with other adult males in the city, so he's on the ice for at least four hours every day of the week. I would like to buy him a pair of nice hockey skates for Valentine's day, since he's currently using a pair that he bought for $65, and am not quite sure where to begin. My price limit is in the area of $450.
Also, I was torn between buying him a jersey autographed by the captain of his favorite NHL team or the hockey skates. What do you think would be a better gift - an autographed jersey or the skates?

I swear he was born with skates on his feet and a twig in his hand haha I would get the jersey, way more sentimental and will most likely last forever. Skates is a great idea too, but they have to be fitted just right And depending on how old he is he might grow out of them.
