Being bullied by a large group of jocks... And I'm a 5"5 nerd. What should I do?
So, I've had this one group of about 5 or 6 jocks harassing me since September. The harassment is pretty juvenile, just repetitive name calling in the hallways. Its the exact same thing every day for over 4 months now. I'm a senior in high school and these kids are all junior transfer students from a nearby school which closed its doors last year.
I've gone about every method to get these guys to stop. For the first two months, I ignored them. I tried playing along for about a week by acknowledging them as if they were old friends of mine, which didn't work either. On a recent occasion, I lost my temper and got right up into the ringleader's face and had 'words' with him, and he actually backed down, but he brushed it off quickly and was right back on it the next day. I'm afraid, though, if I continue doing this, he may attempt to hurt me, and I don't know if I could hold my own against someone so much larger than I. Not to mention, I could get ganged up on.
Solutions, anyone?
remember they do this, not because they don't like you, but they don't like themselves. and also (most importantly) revenge is a dish best served cold. when you have a chance somehow seceretly stuff something that smells bad into the ringleaders locker, or into his backpack, something embaressing like a playgirl magazine (which has naked men instead of women, everyone who sees it will think he is gay). And do not feel sorry! those guys deserve it. I would also like to to say the whole "living well" is the best revenge, which it sort of is (so get those good grades and get into the better college), but then again do you think anyone ever told batman the best revenge against the people who killed his parents was "living well", ha!
