I'm looking for suggestions on a pair of all mountain twin tips. I ski in Southern California. I'm an intermediate skier who can carve well on most runs and I've begun to learn to do some jumps. I'm looking for a pair of twin tips to ski switch and do a few tricks like butter. I usually spend about 70% of my time on groomed runs and the last 30% on jumps. I have my own boots already (Lange World Cup Junior 120) in case any of you are wondering. I'm 135 lbs and 5'5" Currently looking at Line Chronic Cryptonite skis. Anybody have experience with these?
I would look into K2 skis. They have a wide variety and they carve really nicely on the groomers. Also, their womens skis are fairly light depending on what you get which gives you a more balanced feel when in the air. Personally, I would suggest the Missdemeanors or the Missconducts since they are both park specific skis so theyll have the twin tips and arent going to be reverse cambered or rockered. Judging on your height, Id go with a 165 in length too so this way if you get stuck going down some moguls your skis wont be so long as to throw you off.
I know those are technically womens skis but that just means theyre going to be lighter and softer which isnt always a bad thing.
