1. When i record its fine, and its also fine before i start to edit the clip. Then it lags and i can't like add any voice-over to it because its lagging to much. I thought it might be because i need more ram, my computers pretty full of memory. If not what can i do to reduce the lag when i'm editing the clip?
2.I wanted to record my voice while recording and i have my microphone selected under video and audio prefrences and my microphone turned on, also i have the "audio capture" on. What is the problem? can i even record my voice while recording the video?
There are several things that can make a computer run too slowly to be capable of playing back video while recording audio.
First, is the computer fast enough? Check the minimum requirements for the software you're using.
When you say the computer is "full of memory", that also needs to conform to the minimum requirements.
If your computer is running other software in the background, such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc., that can also bog it down.
If the software allows outputting the video and audio to another device (other than the monitor and audio hardware - ex: some editors allow you to output to the camera or other firewire/USB device during the playback, and that takes extra horsepower to do that. So be sure it's set to only output to the monitor/sound card during scrubbing and playback.
