macbook pro ram..order from apple.com?
i've finally decided to get a macbook pro 13 2.26 ghz, i'm not sure whether to wait for the refreshed macbook pro line with the nehalem structure processors...(i hope the core i series is called nehalem structure 
)...
and does the macbook pro 13 come with a single 2 gig ram or is it like 2 chips of 1 gig each...
cuz i want to upgrade it to 4 gig, but the prob i m now facing is tht it is toooooooo costly at apple.com, so thought i could buy ram from crucial.com or newegg.com, but if it comes as 2 chips of 1 gig each, then i ll have to remove both my chips of ram to get 2 chips of 2 gig each..
i guess then i d be wasting a lot of money
if i sell it for 2nd hand, i d get peanuts for it

It's two, one-gig cards. If you want four gigs, then yes, buy from crucial or newegg, but if you're looking at 8gb, Apple sells it cheaper.
@ Carling... not that I have hate for linux, I think it's totally where the future is, but really? Compiz? It's just a pretty picture that's slightly difficult to navigate. Linux is great for some things, OpenOffice is great (use it on my mac), and Karmic is definitely getting somewhere, but it's not ready for the real work world, and the world isn't really ready for it. Macs are based on an architecture similar to linux, giving them alot of raw power and security, but then they have a bunch of killer softwares built into the os that push it into overdrive, making the cards that are weak under windows and linux into powerhouses.
Oh, and they can't tell you what you can and can't install on a mac. That's an iPhone you're thinking of. Not only are you allowed to install whatever you want on your mac, but it doesn't have *any* of the hidden back doors that windows has, that allow big brother to peek at what kinds of files you have.
