Step in Snowboard bindings?
I just started snowboarding and I love it, so I'm planning on getting a new board and bindings. I always see people with just disc like bindings you step into, and I was wondering what they are called, how much they might be and whether or not I need a special board or boots to go with it.
What I mean by step in is it's just a disc with two things on the side, like on a ski, where you step on it and they just click in place. No straps or anything.
The first guy is wrong... flow bindings are different. I would definitely, without question, stick with standard bindings. Personally I prefer when the top strap is rather wide as it holds my foot in place better. They often use step-in bindings for rental boards if that tells you anything.
