I'm basically an all mountain rider and do about 50/50 freeride/freestyle riding. I was told rome 390's were the way to go. I don't know anything bout bindings because I have been riding 2 years with step ins and have never owned anything else. I have a size 10 foot so just let me know an binding and boot combo for me.
Im 80% sure you have to put burton bindings on a burton board because of the screw patterns on the board, and the burton screws are bigger. Call burton to make sure tho...800-881-3138. You dont want rome bindings anyway. I know people talk them up all over the internet but that because they dont know any better. I recently bought the Rome 390's because I heard soooo many good things, but they suck and theyre super heavy. Burton makes the lightest bindings of all brands. Just get burtons so you dont have to deal with making another binding fit their boards.
